The FMP® is comprised of four modules that focus on the fundamental areas of facility management knowledge:
- Finance and Business
- Operations and Maintenance
- Leadership and Strategy
- Project Management
Once you complete the four modules and their final assessments, you will submit your application to IFMA to be recognized as an FMP®. The FMP® is a knowledge-based certificate program. After completing the coursework and passing the final assessments, learners may apply for the lifelong credential and receive their digital badge.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the coursework and final assessments, participants may apply directly to IFMA for the Facility Management Professional™ (FMP®) credential and digital badge. The credential is awarded as a lifelong IFMA credential.
